Make It Visible Visits Inco Contracts’ Dunstable Refurbishment Project

Here at Inco Contracts, we are committed not only to delivering high-quality work, but also to supporting the overall wellbeing of our people. Recently, we were proud to welcome the Make It Visible Taskforce to one of our live refurbishment projects in Dunstable, where we are currently undertaking works on a warehouse facility.

The visit formed part of the Taskforce’s wider mission to engage directly with frontline teams across construction, raising awareness of the extensive support available to those working in the industry and allied trades.

Part of the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, the Make It Visible initiative focuses on improving welfare and wellbeing for construction workers and their families. While mental health is a key focus, the charity’s support extends much further; covering emotional, physical, and financial challenges that can affect anyone in the sector.

During their visit, our teams learned more about the wider support available across the construction industry – from bereavement assistance to financial help and even support for those unable to work due to injury. It reinforced an important message: support is out there when it’s needed most.

The session was extremely well received by our site teams, with strong engagement across all trades involved in the refurbishment works. It was encouraging to see such openness and to know that awareness of these services is reaching those working across our industrial projects.

In a fast-paced environment such as construction – particularly across large-scale refurbishments and warehouse developments – it’s vital that support is not only available, but visible and accessible. Initiatives like Make It Visible play a key role in making that happen.

We would like to thank the Make It Visible team for visiting our Dunstable site and for the important work they continue to do across the industry. At Inco Contracts, we are proud to support their mission and remain committed to promoting a culture where welfare and wellbeing are prioritised across every project.
